On a day which saw my assistant Richard Boulton celebrating his 40^th Birthday in Barcelona, we found ourselves back onto postage stamp pitch 8. Longwell Green had gained promotion so we knew this game could be difficult. However, we set out our game plan and how well it worked.

 

From the first whistle, we pressed and pressured and kept possession and scored nearly all of the chances we created. Both forwards could do no wrong as goal after goal went in. First Bradley Monelle opened the scoring followed by James Boulton. A further two cracking strikes from Bradley completed his hat trick before James added a second to give us an unbeatable 5-0 lead at half time. We absolutely dominated the first half and Longwell Green really had no answer.

 

Despite our concern that the second half could see us under pressure, we continued our dominance. However, Longwell Green did pull a goal back only for Bradley to add a forth to his tally to give us a 6-1 victory.

 

This performance had real buzz as all players played extremely well and the goals scored were really good quality. Notable performances from our Midfield duo of Mo Bouaziz and Oli Randall which really kept the team together throughout the whole match.

 

Another difficult choice for Man of the Match but the decision was given to Bradley Monelle for four brilliant goals.
